What a Pain!

The past couple weeks have been so crazy and hectic! I feel like a chicken with my head cut off. I have been having these "worse" then normal migraines. I could not stand the pain anymore that I called my doctor on the weekend and she told me to go in to the hospital. I went in a few hours later and it had gotten progressively worse. I felt weak on my right side and I could not seem to keep my eyes open. At the ER the Doctors ran a bunch of tests and decided to do a spinal tap. I was sooo terrified!!! While all this was going on I still feel worse and worse. They told me that they were going to admit me into the the hospital. I was so worried. I was admitted and during the time I was in the hospital I went through a bunch of test. The staff was so nice and made me feel comfortable. Thank God that I had a good roommate, I don't know what I would have done if I would have had a crazy loud person rooming with me...lol.
I wasn't able to walk on my own every time that I needed to go to the bathroom I had to call for the nurse and I felt so helpless. I never thought about how many things that we take for granted until it is taken from us. I was classified as a fall risk because my doctors thought that I had had a stroke!!! My right side was very weak to the point that I couldn' t hold a pen to sign consent forms that my husband had to. It was on of the scariest things ever. Banana was not aloud to come visit and it was so heart breaking, I couldn't see her for what seemed like a lifetime and it broke my heart! My husband, Javier came everyday after work and stayed until very late, and I thank the nurse for letting him stay so late and not kicking him out when visiting hours where over!!! The neurologist came to see me and said that the test showed that I did NOT have a stroke!!! THANK GOD!!! BUT he has no idea why my migraines are so bad and that all he knows is that I have migraines that cause strokes like symptoms. (that in itself is scary) I was discharged with no answers but that one and a few meds.  I went on like yesterday after having a migraine intensified to the point that it was just about crippling, I stumbled across an article describing all the symptoms that I have when I have a migraine!!!! Could this be the answer to what is crippling me?
