Love, Beauty, and a Party!

This past week and a half has been full with a wedding, birthdays, and love! My daughter turned 1 this past Wednesday. Last Friday was my sister's best friend's wedding. This past week I was so busy with her birthday dinner(the night of her birthday), to planning the party and doing the last minute things. Her birthday was amazing! I don't know where the time went. It truly makes me sad and happy that she is 1 and that she is growing so fast. I feel like it was just yesterday that I was in labor with my sweet child. My husband and I were running around this past Friday getting her a birthday gift and Saturday buying everything for the party that day. (I know cutting it close oops!) We had an amazing time and she was so lucky to have many people that love her. My family helped us a lot setting up for the party and by the time that we were done I was pooped. I was so not in a party mood but I got my second wind, got ready, and had a blast. I had such a accomplished feeling throughout the whole party. My wonderful husband, Javier grilled burgers and hot dogs in 109 degree heat(my poor husband was beat by 3pm and the party had not even started) I am so grateful and thankful for him! He is amazing. At 4pm the party goers arrived and we ate, laughed, and danced. We had a pinata that broke in the middle of being hit. My brother was on the roof tore open the pinata and it was raining candy. We opened presents and she made out like a bandit lol. Then came cake time, I lit the one single candle and made my own wish for my daughter. The lights were cut and everyone sang "Happy Birthday" Banana cried. I knew that she would. At the end of the party beautiful wrapping paper laid on the floor, the cake half gone and a wish that I would send out to the world. A wish that in my heart I know will come true....So to my daughter: I love you and I will always love you I will be here no matter what today tomorrow and always!
