Hello everyone!

I have missed you all! I have been up to so much since my last blog! I have been working through Elizabeth Arden's Gift w/purchase and it was hectic to say the least. I can not believe that it is already the middle of May! My goodness where has the time gone!

I have some amazing news for all of you!!! I entered my submission to the RAW: natural born artist this past week. I was not expecting to hear back from them as soon as I did, let alone at all! I received a phone call to inform me that I was selected to be a RAW artist!!!!! Now Not all artists are selected to be apart of the organization; and they choose me!!! I was shaking while on the phone. I felt like my heart was going to jump out of my chest lol.  I could not believe it!!! I am so honored and blessed that I am able to be apart of such an fantastic organization!

I am proud of myself that I have stuck by my passion and turned it into my career. I am so blessed that I get to do what I love and what sets my heart on fire and makes my soul sing! Despite all of the doubts, negativity, and comments I still moved forward with my head held high!!! I have been told that makeup can not take you anywhere in life and that that I would not succeed in this field. THIS is my validation!!!!! I  am a featured artist on the RAW website and will be showcased in Tucson, AZ at Club Congress on June 14th, 2013!

What is RAW you ask?  Well I will tell you. "RAW:natural born artist is an independent arts organization, for artists by artists" RAW has monthly showcases that select talented artists in film, fashion, music, art, hair, makeup artistry, performing art, photography. They spotlight these artist in the RAW showcase.

Here is a little bit of background on how RAW was created.

In 2003, Heidi Luerra graduated high school and moved to Los Angeles, CA. She was determined to make her life-long dream of becoming a fashion designer a reality. She started her own clothing line; and sold her pieces at swapmeets on the weekends. While going to school full-time, working part-time and being an intern in the fashion district. She thought, "There's got to be a better way to get my work out there." In 2005, Heidi threw her first showcase in L.A. with an audience reaching over 750. Through this event, she found her solution; she wanted to create a organization for the countless talented artists that needed a "better way to get their work out there." In 2009, RAW was born. After her first RAW event, a local web developer, Matthew Klahorst  contacted Heidi about combining art events with an online showcase for artists. At that point RAW evolved  to promoting artists both online and in showcases. In 2011,  RAW expanded outside of L.A. and now is in over 60 cities in the Untied States. July 2012, RAW expanded to  Australia and now RAW will launch in China and Europe in 2013.

I am honored that they choose me! Thank you once again RAW!!!!!!!

I know that my Tio Hector is shining down on me. I know that you are proud of me and that you are here to guide me every step of the way! I love you Tio! I miss you always........

I hope you all have a great day of love, beauty, and great Havoc!

Urban Decay Naked Palette Review

I have all these eyeshadow palettes just sitting in my drawers and I have been wanting to do a review on them but never have the time to do them. SO long overdue but here it is :)

I am going to review palette today:

 Urban Decay Naked Palette (Original)

Now before we get started I would like to say that The Urban Decay Palette I purchased. This is not a sponsored post/review.

The Urban Decay Naked Palette was out for about a year and I was wanting to get my hands on it sooo bad. I waited because it is not a cheap item and I wanted to be certain that I would use it and not have it sitting collecting dust ;) I read reviews and watched YouTube videos and I had my heart set on getting this. I bought this in Dec 2011 and it was my Christmas gift to myself.  I am so glad that I bought this. I am so impressed and so pleased with the quality and quantity of the products. The glide on like butter and are so easy to work with. The pigmentation of these shadows are outstanding and a little will go along way.

I love the variety of looks that you are able to do with them. I am so in love with this palette not only for the colors but also the packaging. It is in a velvet chocolate brown package and came with a Urban Decay Good Karma Shadow Brush and Urban Decay Primer Potion. I love that it has those in them.

I have used Primer Potion for sometime now and I gave the mini to my sister (who had a hard time with shadows creasing on her.) I misplaced my Good Karma Shadow Brush which is unfortunate because that was such a amazing brush. It really placed the shadow down. and is a fun chrome purple.

I would defiantly recommend this to anyone! I love Urban Decay. I can not wait to get the Vice Palette and Naked 2!!!

Virgin, Sin, Naked, Sidecar, Buck, Halfbaked, Smog,
                                                Darkhorse,Toasted, Hustle, Creep, Gunmetal

I hope you have a Day of Love, Beauty, and Great Havoc!

It's been a long time....

I know that I haven't written a post in a very long time. I went through a lot of personal issues but now I feel like I am myself again! I am so content with my life and the people in it!! I am still at Bobbi Brown yay! I love my job. I feel so blessed to work for such an amazing company and team.
This fall Bobbi came out with quite a few collections. The Neon and Nude, Rose Gold, Brightening, and Instant Long-wear Collection (so far). I was so excited that I was able to preview the collections before they hit counters in Seasonal School.
I can't wait to get back into writing and sharing about the things I'm so passionate about :)

Lace design and Hair Dye

I uploaded a few videos today about dying my hair and a makeup look. I love the way that my hair turned out. I dyed it Dark Mahogany Brown. My hair was Black before and I thought that I was due for a change. A nice warm summer color.

A few weeks ago I was watching some Youtube videos to just be inspired and I came across these videos about using lace and placing it on the face! I have wanted to try this look on my brother's girlfriend Lilly for a while but we have just not had a chance to do it. Tonight we finally DID!!!! YAYAYAYAYAAY and this is what it looks like......

I absolutely LOVE IT!! IT is so amazing and I can't wait to keep working with this technique. I love it

My Future Makeup Artist

Savannah and I were laying in bed after her nap. She was so "happy" as she told me when she woke up. I love her so much. She amazes me everyday at how much she knows and learns. She loves to watch Mommy put on her "pretty" lol. Every time that I get ready and put on my make-up she says "oooohhhh pretty" hahahaha it is way to cute. The other day she put "pretty" on her Tia Stephy (my sister) I wish that I would have snapped a picture of that it was so adorable. I have a feeling that she is going to be into the beauty industry in her future lol.

Have a great day of love, "pretty", and, Great Havoc! from my little makeup artist and I
